Black Angus Steakhouse in Brentwood

Service was great but the soup was bad. Over all a pleasant dinner out. But kind of pricey for what you get.

Service was superb. Food was delicious. Large menu selection for lunch. Seemed the servers had too many tables as it was quite busy. Almost like they were short one server.

The wait staff was horrid. If you don't have the coupon pass on this. We had rib eye very good. We had to wait to get water, bread and the courses. Just overall not great.

I placed an order to go on Christmas eve 2019 and the order wasn't right. The staff went out of their way to remake my order correctly and even compensated for the mixup. The food was excellent. Especially on christmas eve I really appreciated the excellent way they handled the situation and their generosity. Great customer service and food!!!

Great quality food in a cozy atmosphere! We made a reservation, only waited 10 minutes when we arrived. Some of their dishes have been around for centuries and I love them! First time at the Brentwood location and our server Leonita was very nice!

We come here to this location often and mostly before noon and a little bit after. The food is always good that’s not the issue, it’s mostly the service. We always have a reservation upon arriving and this happens every visit. We reserve and when we arrive there’s quite a few people already but luckily we reserved right. Wrong several people who arrived without reservations were seated before we did I ask all the time they know us pretty well now name and appearance so I don’t know if they do this on purpose or just don’t care about the reservations. Along with this issues as soon as we are seated like to order right away along with our drinks and we never receive our bread and appetizers before hand everything comes in later and all at once and it’s just us because we notice other waited tables serve in order with drinks bread appetizers salad and so on. Is it so hard to get that in order for customer service.

Ok so I love Black Angus. Certainly not a high $$ steakhouse but for the prices the food is very good. The drinks are good and the grilled artichokes are to die for. Don't forget they have very good specials which I had steak, lobster, and shrimp, plus 2 sides for 19.99. Can't beat it.

It took almos an hour to get served after we made the order! This doesn't include the half hour we waited to get a person to take the order from us!! I will go back to Outback very fast, if I crave a good steak for dinner!!

At the first moment you come to that place the personel give you a comfortable feeling. Very hospitable crew, it is a friendly place to enjoy with buddies or with your date. heavenly cooking, creative chief cook and stuff, modest pay and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Waitress was not what we were use to coming here. She didn't seem too enthused to help us she didn't ask if we wanted refills but showed a better attitude towards the couple that sat next to us 30 minutes later. I usually have excellent. Customer service which is why we tip good but this day was not our normal experience here.

My friends and I went here on a whim and had an amazing experience. The food was cooked perfectly other other than one burger cooked a little more than perverse preferred. The server was very attentive and refilled our drinks without even asking. Even the restaurant was spotless and very well maintained. The food is a little pricey, but you are definitely getting what you pay for.

Never had a bad meal here and their bone in ribeye is amazing.

The place was great, steak was great, Brussel sprouts tasted weird but they replaced them with broccoli. Waitress was great

The most bland and unremarkable meal I've ever had. Poor quality and overpriced offerings, I'm puzzled as to why this is such a popular restaurant. My companion and I were unable to eat much of what we ordered. I'm quite incompetent in the kitchen, but could have probably prepared a more appetizing and impressive meal.The service was warm and friendly from the moment we walked in. The 2 stars are for service alone.

Affordable, however, great service and good steaks

'1970's, Black Angus was "the place to go", but most closed in this area. Accidentally found this place right next to the highway; every bite was delicious!!!!!All customers seemed thrilled.

The drinks was great bar tender was very informative about the different drinks. Sister and wife loves going here.

They have really good mules in the bar! Steaks are always yummy. Sign up with your email to get coupons and birthday goodies. They sent me a coupon for a free appetizer 😀

A most memorable birthday celebration, steaks that are outta this world, hostess was awesome. Atmosphere was what you would expect for a great dinner out with the whole family/gang.

Don't know which was better, the service or food! We went for our anniversary and we were pleasantly surprised! The manager visited our table and our server brought us the cookie dessert that topped off our night! Thank you for such a great evening!

I'm very particular about my steaks (any food in general to be completely honest).I've gone around 15 times so far, and this location hasn't disappointed me yet16oz Rib Eye is amazing 95% of the time. (That remaining 5% was still better than any steak I've ever had at an Outback Steakhouse)I highly recommend you try this location.We normally go between Noon and 4PM and there is never a line.

Outstanding service and food.By far the best Black Angus in the Bay Area. Always friendly and food is ALWAYS GREAT..much better than Dublin , which is extremely POOR.

The last Black Angus I went to was years ago! I always loved their Mountain Chocolate Cake! This location in Sand creek/Brentwood was nice! Lots of seating and a pretty big bar! I got a Sangria which was a very refreshing drink on a hot summer day! My friend ordered a BBQ chopped salad, it looked amazing! And I ordered the grilled chicken it tasted ok. We had a sweet waitress very polite and attentive!

I ordered my steak well and it was served medium so I had to send it back; however, our server was excellent and saved the evening!!!

Food was very good, had to catch someone for more water, had to ask for Malt vinegar even though the menu stated the Fish and chips were served with it. Will try this nnow one again. Granddaughter loved the Mac and Cheese! !!

Was a good evening there. Had wonderful food and service. Love that place!!!

Been here twice ordered same thing. Both times cowboy sized prime rib. Amazing the first time. Second time tasted amazing but i got REALLY sick the next day. So far 50/50. The alcohol tastes cheap so go somewhere else for the same money. Idk as a hetero normative white male, the best drinks for my money always are at gay bars.

We went here on Saturday and it was extremely busy. We made reservations so we didn't have to wait long. We were seated and no one came to greet us until 20 minutes later. So we ordered drinks and our main course. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks and about 45 minutes for our dinner. The food was cold, steaks were raw and we ordered well done. Sent them back had to wait an additional 40 minutes. We sat waiting more than eating. I will never go on a weekend again.

Poor service, food is not fresh. Overpriced for no reason.

My friends and I had a lovely lunch I had salmon my friend had a bacon cheeseburger and my other friend had a 1/2 of beef dip sandwich with a salad all was very good

Love the dog-friendly patio and friendly servers who offer to bring our boy a bowl of water. As for the menu, my favorite appetizer is actually a filling meal - just $6 for a steak quesadilla.

The server in the bar was GREAT. The lunch prime rib was grainy and over cooked.The crab cake was super yummy. Maybe it was just a bad day for meat.

My husband and I celebrated Valentine's day a week early to skip the crowds. We always talk about going there but then end up at one of the restaurants we're more familiar with. We finally decided to make a reservation. We definitely have been missing out. We now have a new favorite restaurant! Our dinners were delicious. I had a Filet that was cooked perfectly and a Lobster tail. My husband had Prime Rib that he loved as well. I could go on and on but you probably get the drift already. We both totally loved our dinners and eventook two slices of cheesecake home for the next day! I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was exquisite and we plan to go back tomorrow for lunch!

We have been going to Black Angus Brentwood for years and really love the service and food, so we were a little disappointed when we received our meal we ordered the steak, shrimp, scallops and to our surprise the meat options were very tiny? Like they were trying to go cheap, the salad and desert were great as always. I hope this isn't going to be the norm or we might have to find a better steak house.

Service was great! Food was good but not fantastic. The appetizers were better than the main dish in my opinion.

This was my family's first time eating at Black Angus. We ordered the grilled salmon and quesadilla steak for the appetizer. We had mac n cheese and au tin potato for the sides, cheeseburger for the kids' meal. As for dessert, we had cheesecake and ice cream with sprinkles. Everything we ordered was so delicious 👍 We surely will come back again.

Good place for steak dinner with family. Wish I didn't have to drive all the way to Brentwood.

Pretty decent meal! Been a long time since I have been to one. We had a great time.

Our server was great. She was super busy but still took care of us. The food is mediocre at best. My steak was overcooked but in not one to send things back. I guess it is what it is from a chain steakhouse.

Steaks, Ribs, and Prime rib are always good, even better when you get a free lobster tail or Shrimp. The deserts are yummy too. The staff is very friendly and atmosphere is nice. Great for family meals and for a special night out for dinner it is reasonably priced. They also have great burgers for lunch or dinner.

Good quality steaks and a good assortment of sides and drinks. This location does seem to have some quality control issues lately, though. Three filets were ordered, asked to cook medium, and one came out well done, the other two were fine. We've also had this issue with kid's burgers coming out completely charred and impossible to eat lately. The positive note in these issues is that the staff were very quick to correct issues and refire the orders and very apologetic.
